I’m so excited! I still can’t get over the news. The OVA and the live action probably had favorable response in Japan. More RuroKen means more chance for Jinchuu. I’m guessing it will be a gaiden of some sort since the manga ended in a pretty good way. The idea of it being the Hokkaido Arc seems unlikely… but Watsuki writing something new for RK seemed unlikely too. Oh well. So many emotions!
They really weren’t joking when they said 2012 is going to be Rurouni Kenshin’s year. ^^x

I haven’t been worried yet though because up until now they have just been making newer versions of existing stuff and the storyline would be untouched. RK is one of the better executed mangas I have read because it has a beginning, middle, and end. Do you know what you get when money is thrown in and a story is dragged out when it should have ended? Bleach. Naruto. InuYasha. The plot goes off to nowhere and it is painful.
Rurouni Kenshin ended when it was great, and it was all tied up perfectly. It was sad it was over, but that was where it should have ended. If he wants to make more manga, make Yahiko no Sakabato a series instead. Kenshin’s story is over, and I think Watsuki could have a lot more fun with it that RK at this point.
Well that was unexpected
I decided to not pester my mother with fandom related gifts this year and asked for mostly more practical things like one DVD and an ipod charger. So I go to open my gifts and get.
An Adipose and an itsy bitsy TARDIS. This was very unexpected because I have not been particularly obnoxious about Doctor Who in a way that would imply she should buy me random DW things, (except for the constant jokes I make about the fact my town has a police box in the town dump but how do you not find that hilarious.) and yet there is an Adipose and tinyTARDIS on my desk. Lol.

Every damn year
The Christmas CDs we have are too scratched (from being in the car) and I got to make new copies and they are gone from my hard drive. Why is it ALWAYS GONE. This happens to ALL MY CDS ALL THE TIME WHY. I think all the figures for online piracy is people downloading the scratched CDs they bought from stores. They should have some site where you can scan the barcode of the back of the case for a new copy.
Also? FUCK slot load drives because EVERY TIME I do this it eats at least one disk.
